Looking up at the friend turned enemy,
Tears pooled into the once vibrant and love filled eyes.
The eyes searched for any emotion on the other's face.
How could they have been so foolish?

The enemy's hand outstretched to caress the other's cheek.
A gesture normally showing love, but no.
This was just a way of mocking the defeated party.
Tears spilled down onto the mocking hand.

With all the strength they had,
The broken turned their head away from the touch,
And stood to their feet.
They simply left.

The fight was finally over.
One lost while another one.
All this was,
Was a remind that love is a constant battle.
